Bingocize®NC

Bingocize® has been demonstrated to increase older adults quality of life by improving social engagement, functional/gait performance, and executive function.  A North Carolina-based team has received a 3-year grant through the CMS Civil Penalties Fund to offer Bingocize® in 45 North Carolina certified nursing facilities (2022-04-NC-0228/NC-0322-WCU-917).

How It Works

Bingocize® combines the game of bingo and gentle exercise. Sessions include a leader’s script for each lesson and step-by-step range-of-motion exercise instructions. Groups of participants play Bingocize® twice per week (ideally), with each 45-60 minute session consisting of range of motion exercises. Curriculum reinforcements include water bottles, crossword puzzles, lotion, etc.
